JomRides is a ride-hailing platform operated by USGA Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Company Registration No. 201801015066 / 1277082-T), a company incorporated in Malaysia with its registered office at 1st Floor, Sublot No. 43, MetroCity, Jalan Matang, Kuching, Sarawak.
The JomRides Driver App is a technology platform that connects independent driver-partners with passengers seeking transportation services within Malaysia. USGA Malaysia Sdn Bhd acts solely as a technology provider and does not provide transportation services directly.
To register and operate as a JomRides driver-partner, you must:

Fares are calculated based on parameters set by JomRides including distance, time, service type, and applicable surcharges. JomRides reserves the right to adjust fare structures at any time with reasonable notice.
Cash Payment: All ride fares are paid in cash directly by the passenger to the driver upon trip completion. Drivers are responsible for collecting the correct fare amount as displayed in the app and must not overcharge or undercharge passengers.
Drivers are responsible for managing their own cash float and ensuring they have sufficient change available for passengers. JomRides is not responsible for any disputes arising from cash transactions between drivers and passengers.
Any applicable platform fees or commissions owed to JomRides will be communicated separately and must be settled according to the agreed schedule.
Drivers who frequently cancel accepted trips may be subject to account suspension or deactivation. Cancellations are monitored and excessive cancellation rates will result in:
Legitimate cancellations due to passenger misconduct, safety concerns, or technical issues will not be counted against your record when properly reported.
JomRides reserves the right to suspend or terminate your driver account at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:
You may voluntarily deactivate your account at any time by contacting JomRides support.
You acknowledge and agree that your relationship with USGA Malaysia Sdn Bhd is that of an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, joint venture partner, or franchisee.
You are solely responsible for determining the manner and means by which you provide transportation services, subject to these Terms. JomRides does not direct or control the physical performance of your services.
By using the JomRides Driver App, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes location data, trip information, device identifiers, and communication records.
Your data may be shared with passengers (limited to name and rating), regulatory authorities when required by law, and service providers who assist in operating the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, USGA Malaysia Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the platform or provision of ride-hailing services.
JomRides provides the platform on an "as is" basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for losses arising from platform downtime, technical issues, or events beyond our reasonable control.
JomRides reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be made available through the app and/or via email notification. Your continued use of the JomRides Driver App after any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
As JomRides operates on a cash payment basis where fares are collected directly by the driver, refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis under the following conditions:
All refund disputes must be reported to JomRides within 24 hours of the trip completion via email at myjomrides@gmail.com with the trip details, date, time, and amount in dispute.
JomRides reserves the right to make the final determination on all refund disputes after reviewing available evidence including trip records, driver and passenger ratings, and communications.
